Who we are

I was raised with sauna as an integral part of life. Without sauna, life isn’t complete. I took my first sauna at 3 or 4 months old, and have taken innumerable since. I want to share my passion and knowledge with you.

I built the first sauna for myself two years ago, on the bluffs above the Columbia River. I learned many lessons with that build, and I’m sure I have lessons yet to learn. However, I’m confident that I’m one of few people building them properly, to Finnish standards.

Not only can I build you a proper Finnish sauna, but I can teach you how to use it like a Finn.
